Better for the pets

Pet sitting means that the sitter is living in the pet's home while the owner is away. The pets get to stay in their own familiar environment, with human company and love—making it the very best option for the pet's health and emotional well-being, in most cases.

Free for owners

It is 100% free for owners join and find pet sitters—and the pet sitters will usually sit for free. Oh, and they provide in-house security and garden maintenance at the same time.

We are the original Pet Sitting site

We've been doing pet sitting much longer than any of the new "pet" websites—most home owners get house sitters because they want someone to look after their pets i.e. pet sitting. Over more than a decade we have developed many layers of robust security and a surprisingly easy and rewarding user experience.

Attractions of Hawkes bay

The three major cities of Hawke's Bay are Napier, Hastings and Wairoa. Napier and Hastings are known internationally for the "Snapshot" of Art Deco architecture on display, due to the fact that both towns were destroyed by an earthquake in the 1930's, and were both rebuilt within a couple of years.

Wairoa, on the other hand is famous for its stunning coastlines. Bird lovers can visit the bird sanctuary in Cape Kidnappers famous for its Gannet colony.

For the wine experience, there are over 80 wineries, mostly within a 20 kilometre radius encompassing Hastings and Napier. Some other places you should checkout are Clive, Elsthorpe, Puketapy, Dannevirke and Tikokino. There are also the beautiful lakes Tutira and Waikaremoana; well worth a visit.

Trout fishing, Kayaking and lying on a beautiful beach are also on the menu in Hawkes Bay - it's really about what you're in the mood for.

And don't forget TAUMATAWHAKATANGIHANGAKOAUAUOTAMATEATURIPUKAKAPIKIMAUNGAHORONUKUPOKAIWHENUAKITANATAHU

Worth visiting just for the photo opportunity, this hill in Hawkes Bay boasts the longest place name in the English speaking world. A translation of the name from Maori is "The summit where Tamatea, the man with the big knees, the climber of mountains, the land-swallower who travelled about, played his nose flute to his loved one".
