Our home

Do you long to step away from the outside world for a while and immerse yourself in nature ? Then look no further than our wee piece of Paradise. Our farm is 100 acres of deer-fenced land on the Otago Peninsula. We are looking for sitters who are comfortable being immersed in nature rather than in city dwelling.
The newly built house is fully double glazed and easy to live in with ocean views to die for ! Your bedroom has a queen bed and your own private ensuite bathroom.

favoriteWhat we love about our area

We have a lot of interesting wildlife on the Otago Peninsula including Northern Royal Albatross (the only mainland breeding colony in the world), Hooker sea lions (world's rarest sea lion), fur seals, little blue penguins and yellow-eyed penguins (also the world's rarest penguin).

Our pets

DogsDogs (2)
CatsCats (2)
Two active dogs - Coco, a German Short Haired Pointer (6yo) and her brother Banjo, a Wirehaired German Pointer (9yo) - both retired drug detector dogs.
Two cats - Milou, a Siamese Chocolate Point Princess who likes her creature comforts and Maximus, a white Maine Coon-cross who thinks he is a dog.
We have 100 acres so walking the dogs is not a problem but we also have beaches on the doorstep for a change of scenery.
All the animals are very easy going and easy to care for - they adore human company. The garden has a Hidden Fence system so the dogs are able to roam without you worrying they will disappear !

medicationMedication/treatment required

Banjo just needs one tablet a day (Prednisone) in his food. Milou needs a liquid supplement twice a day which she takes easily.

Our garden

local_floristGarden or plant care
