Our home

New luxury two bedroom, two bath apartment right in the heart of the central city, located very close to Margaret Mahy Park and Latimer Square. Despite city location, it is surprisingly quiet. Really a nice place to live.
I have a 16 year old inside-only cat, Fiona, who is super sweet and likes to chase toys and receive pets (on her terms). She sometimes cuddles if she feels comfortable with you. I have a 16 year old inside-only cat, Fiona, who is super sweet and likes to chase toys and receive pets (on her terms). She sometimes cuddles if she feels comfortable with you. She does have a sensitive stomach and occassionally vomits, but hopefully she won't while you are taking care of her. She has a special diet food that should prevent that. You will need to feed her twice a day. She also takes an inhaler for her asthma once per day. It is easy to do for her but I'll need to show you how. Also cleaning her litter box and playing with her a bit. And make sure she stays inside. Easy.

The house is situated in the centre of Christchurch, a really hand location to be able to walk to places. Fiona the cat took few days to get used to us but when she did she was a very loving chatty cat. She loves the red light machine chasing the light around the room. She was sick a couple of times but we put that down to her getting used to us. Andy was great on communication, if we had any questions he responded straight back. We loved this house sit. Fiona is such a lovely cat. She took a couple of days to warm up to us but after that she loved a good head scratch and chin rub. She's very chill and easy to care for and will miss her company and talking back. The house was so nice, very comfortable and cosy and the location was perfect to explore the city. Andy has been great; very accommodating, he left clear instructions and answered any questions we had while he was away. Would love the opportunity to pet sit ... MoreWe loved this house sit. We had a fantastic time looking after Fiona. She’s a sweet, gentle cat and was so easy to care for. Andy's apartment is comfortable, easy to maintain and situated in a prime location.
Andrew's apartment is located close to the city center and within walking distance of all facilities. (Theatres, cinemas, library, gyms, bus station and parks.) It is a warm modern property equipped with the usual white goods and WIFI. There was no TV but as I do not watch TV that was not an issue. Fiona (the cat) was very friendly towards me and let me know when it was feeding time. She has asthma and receives her medicine daily. Andrew showed me what to do and provided follow-up notes. I ... I followed Fiona's feeding schedule and did not encounter any problems. This was a "last minute" sit and turned out to be a very enjoyable one.

Andy was great to deal with and left very helpful instructions for looking after Fiona. Despite some medication and a special diet, Fiona is an easy going, low maintenance cat. She was a pleasure to look after. The property is in an ideal location, we would happily help Andy and Fiona out again
