Our home

Hi folks,
We have one dog, a cute little fox terrier called Katie who is seventeen years old with some hearing and vision loss and age related decline but is a happy and loving wee girl. Bob the cat is a stray who adopted us. Sleeps in the garage and doesn't come inside really although lately has been showing some interest in doing so. He's friendly though and enjoys some attention and pats.. House is in a good area close to walking and biking tracks. Bus stop a few
metres away.

I really enjoyed spending the last 6 weeks with Katie and Bob. They are both easy to care for and very lovable. Katie loves her walks and daily cuddles, and we had a lovely time exploring the track behind their house. Bob is also very interactive, and we enjoyed our daily pats in the garage where he lives. Catherine was very welcoming, helpful, and easy to communicate with throughout my stay. I’m going to miss Katie and Bob so much after such a fabulous 6 weeks together!
We only had a short stay at Catherine’s but really enjoyed the location, views and the terrific bush walk out the back door. Home is very cosy and comfortable and Katie the dog is getting on a bit but finds the energy for a good stroll through the bush. Bob the cat comes and goes - mainly for food as he pleases. Very easy sit with great views and handy to lots of places
Stunning home and beautiful garden. Catherine had left very clear instructions and was very responsive if we needed help with anything. The oldies loved having attention and were very easy to look after.
I really had a nice time when I stay with Katie, kimmie and Bob. Catherine has a very beautiful and quiet house and her pets are friendly. I always don't have many confident for my English speaking and Catherine gave me a list about how to feed pets. It's help me a lot. And she also told me how to open cooktop patiently even if my English is don't fluent enough. Thanks Catherine again！it's a very precious memory for me.

We enjoyed looking after Kimmy, Katie and Bob. Cath left us with detailed instructions and we had an enjoyable, comfortable stay. Communication was good throughout and it was a pleasure meeting both Cath and Steven.
So lovely to meet Catherine who is really friendly, welcoming and easy-going. All instructions for the house were clear and straightforward. Katey the dog is a sweetheart, Kimmie and Bob the cats are independent but love attention all the same. The house has everything you need, very comfortable, and has the best views I've seen so far in Christchurch! I had a lovely stay, thank you both very much :)
Catherine and Steven were fantastic hosts for our house sitting experience. They were welcoming, provided detailed instructions, and communication was smooth. Taking care of their pets was easy. Katie, the dog, is well-behaved and loves walks. Kimmie, the cat, is polite and beautiful, patiently waiting for meals. Bob, the street cat, is adorable and enjoys petting. The location of their house is excellent, with stunning views. Highly recommended!
