Our home

New, purpose-built, comfortable, 1-bedroom house sitter's suite attached to the main house, set on 1 hectare of beautiful rural gardens. Plenty of room to walk the dog without even leaving the property.

No need to look after anything in the main house.

Quiet and peaceful, with large pond and gardens.

Good restaurants and bars within a 5 minute drive. Great shopping centre 15 minutes drive away.

Our pets

9 year old lab/staffie cross who lives outdoors in his kennel. Getting old and doesn't need long walks these days, but he is still very strong, so you do need to be strong enough to control him if he sees a cat or a pukeko.

medicationMedication/treatment required

May need to be given painkillers with his feed, if his rheumatism is playing up.

Our garden

Minimal - This is really negotiable. There are extensive gardens and if you enjoy working in a garden, any weeding/mowing etc will be most welcome. However, if you are not into that, we employ gardeners for maintenance and have a robot mower.
