Our home

I am looking for someone to house sit my lovely home and animals for 3 days from Friday 28 th August am til Sunday 30th August evening.
Due to my dog the I am seeking someone who will be mostly home during that time, to keep him company and is fit and active and happy to take him for a good hour’s walk each day.
I have a lovely warm sunny home with an east facing porch and garden and a fully private northwest facing back deck with a BBQ and spa.

My home is very comfortable , cool and dry and sunny with a heat pump/air conditioner unit , a fan, HRV system and dehumidifier.
My garden will be pretty, the spa warm and lovely.
I have 4 cats ( and a feral that i offer food to twice daily)
My home is within short walking distance to the stunning Tamaki estuary and point England beach. 5 minutes drive from the cafes of st Heliers and mission bay.
Huge off - street parking.
Close to the Glen Innes train station and numerous bus stops. Walking distance from 2 large supermarkets and a few cafes.
Ample off street parking including behind a gate and all covered by security cameras

I love the easy access. ( 5 minutes walk) to the beautiful Tāmaki estuary, the proximity to the Waitemata waterfront and al it’s eateries and cafes, walking distance to shops including chemist warehouse and a large supermarket. A well stocked corner store at the end of my road

I have one gorgeous very calm relaxed but active staffI cross who will be after a good hour’s walk daily. The cat’s main care is feeding them and cudddles duty

medicationMedication/treatment required

To table one cat one per day of possible, I find her very easy to tackle but other people have not always. Not critical if she is not medicated whilst I am away

We had a fantastic stay at Elena’s place with Ronayne and the cats ! Ronayne is a very friendly, sociable dog and super easy to walk (there’s a lovely walking path just 10 minutes away !) The cats are a bit shy, except for Sandy, who happily comes over for cuddles :) Elena did everything to make us feel at home. She explained everything clearly and even provided a document with all the useful information. Everything you need for a perfect stay in a beautiful location. We highly recommend ... We loved looking after Elena's pets and home while she was away. Ronayne was an absolute pleasure to hangout with, he follows you everywhere and is well behaved and just a happy dog. We did a walk everyday and he was super easy on the lead. The cats were lovely and mainly keopt to themselves, appearing when they felt like it. It was a pleasure looking after Elena's house and pets! Ronayne is a really cool dog. One of the best dogs we've ever looked after. He is an absolute sweetheart with lovely manners and such a sweet nature. After a few days of taking him into the office he was already a firm favourite (with people and pets) and will be missed! The cats are friendly and no trouble at all. Elena's communication was great and she made us feel right at home.
Helena is a most pleasant woman! Ron the cutest dog in all of New Zealand! I will miss him a lot! The house and garden are super cozy. thank you for giving me this opportunity

It was a pleasure to meet Elena and her pets. She is very kind, she made us feel at home at all times. Her home is beautiful, full of plants and with the lovely company of her pets. Ronnie and the cats were very easy to care for. I highly recommend having this experience.
I had a lovely time at Elena's. The house was comfortable and the neighborhood was very peaceful, it was such a relaxing time for me, since I was living in the CBD before. The majority of the cats were very shy, but Sandy was an exception. They were very easy to take care and Elena was very helpful with the advices and with every question that I had!
Comfortable heritage style house in pleasant Auckland inner city suburb with one well behaved dog and many cats! Some really pleasant dog walks on the doorstep. Elena is lovely!
Wonderful Stay at Elena's cozy home. The house/garden had a real nice feel, very relaxing & positive. Ronayne the dog was such a delight, loved his walks and hanging out with you, I got to see so much cleverness in him :) The cats were very loving yet discreet and loved hanging out on the couch with you. I had the best sleeps too!! I must say that out of all the house sits I have done this was the most heartbreaking one to leave for the simple fact that I got real attached to Ronayne as we ... Elena was incredibly thoughtful and helpful at all times. She left thorough and easy to follow care instructions for the cats and chickens. It didn't take us long to get to know all of the cats, each with their own personalities (some shy, some super friendly) but overall super easy to take care of. The house is well located for walks, public transport and shops and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

We had a great time with Elenas wonderful wonderful dog ronayne. the most gentle, loving, chill and behaved dog I've met and we absolutely fell in love with him.The cats are super chill and especially madame very cute and cuddly. House had a nice location close to a beautiful park, perfect for walks. Elena was very easy to contact and super friendly, even filled the fridge with beers for us! :) we were sad to leave!
We had a lovely time taking care of Elena's sweet pets. Her dog is very well-trained and up for adventures in nature and at the beach. Elena was a very attentive host and made us feel right at home while she was away! She was very kind to stock the fridge with beverages for us :)

I had a lovely time house sitting at Elena's for a few days, great walking spot from the house to the beach via a bushy track just a few minutes down the road. Puppy enjoys attention, loves walks and responds to commands. Cats and hens were easy and fresh eggs were delicious. Elena is good at communicating even while away and I enjoyed chatting with her. It felt funny to start with being completely surrounded by a new housing construction site with virtually no neighbours but I got used to it ...
