We love our area because it is close to parks supermarkets Riccarton Mall and a short walk to a dog friendly park and Riccarton bush market, which is on every Saturday with delicious food.

Winnie and Roo are King Charles cavalair sisters. They are 18months and are very well trained affectionate loving little dogs. They love a walk and to cuddle up close by. We are wanting someone who will be home during the day and will take them on outings. They love a walk and going in the car. They can be left home alone, but not all day.

We had a lovely time house sitting for Kate & her family. They provided us with really helpful instructions on how to care for their home and beloved dog Elmo. Communication with Kate was super easy and they made us feel really welcome in their home. Their home is in a lovely location, close to a few parks, shops and cafes. Their home itself is beautiful and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay, including ample firewood to get us through the colder days! The star of this house ... The star of this house sitting experience was of course their dog Elmo. He was the cutest, sweetest, sassiest little dog. Elmo was so easy to take care of and we absolutely loved our time with him. We will definitely miss him. We would 100% house sit for Kate and her family again.

House was cosy. Scooter and Elmo were so lovely to spend the weekend with. Kate was super easy to communicate with while we did an initial meet and set up the sit. Wouldn't hesitate to offer to sit again if our schedules lined up.
What a beautiful family! I had a super positive experience caring for Kate's home and doggos. I felt like crying when I said goodbye to Elmo and Scooter. I will miss them!

My husband and I had such a lovely time looking after Elmo and Scooter, two very loving, obedient and gorgeous doggies whom we are already missing! Kate and Nick are so nice and their house is beautiful, with a nice garden backing onto the Avon River and very close to parks and everything we needed. Very low maintenance house sit, and communicating with Kate and Nick was always enjoyable as they are very friendly and kind - they even let us help ourselves to food in the fridge! I enjoyed house sitting and looking after Elmo and Scooter :) The house and garden were lovely and I loved spending time with the doggies. It was wonderful to enjoy the fire outside at night. I had everything I needed for a great 4 days!
