Hi, we are looking for a responsible couple/person to care for our 13 year old dog Louie, and two cats, Ralph and Brian.
We have a lovely home in a good area with great walks right on our doorstep.

We are looking for responsible sitters to look after Louie, who is a very friendly 13-year-old Border collie/Labradoodle cross, he loves a short daily walk and is also happy hanging out with company. Ralph and Brian (cats) are happy doing their thing and come and go through the cat door. Ralph is friendly and vocal while Brian takes a little more time but has always been one over by our house guests.
We have a lovely home in a quiet location with great walking options on your doorstep.

We loved our Matariki Weekend sit at Kerryn and Lance’s caring for Louie, Ralph and Brian. Kerryn is very warm and welcoming with clear instructions for caring for their loved family pets and the house. The house is situated in a lovely neighbourhood, very comfortable, with spectacular views and pretty shorelinewalks to take Louie on. Louie is a beautiful dog, so easy to walk off lead on the path by the sea. He’s the kind of dog who spends half the time looking for amazing sticks and the rest ... He’s the kind of dog who spends half the time looking for amazing sticks and the rest of the time checking out that you’re keeping up and that you’re ok. The cats, Ralph and Brian - move around the house all day to their favourite sleeping spots in the sun. Delightful sit.

I love love sitting for Kerryn. She makes you feel so welcome and comfortable in her home. Shes is also a lovely lady. Louie the dog is such a big softie Ralph and Brian the cats give lots of cuddles. I always have my hand ip ready to go back. Xx

Well what can we say but “5 star all the way”. From a great home, great location, amazing owners and the most adorable fur family, this sit would have to be one of the best. Owner Kerryn is super organised and great on communication, her experience with house sitters and they needs is apparent. The home is super comfortable and modern with the best views of Tauranga. Strongly recommend is sit to future sitters.
We had a lovely weekend with Louie, Brian and Ralph. Louie is great to walk and play with 🐶Brian and Ralph keep to themselves a bit more but loved a few cuddles 😻 Great house and location. Kerryn and Lance wonderful and friendly and left excellent notes for looking after the fur-babies. Would love to look after them again sometime.

This was the second time that I housesat for Kerryn and Lance and once again things went well with excellent communication between us. As I think I mentioned previously the home is lovely and pets well behaved. Was fortunate to have Louie’s support during the night of Cyclone Vaianu 🤣 and even Ralph and Brian decided inside was the best place to be. Thanks again Kerryn. Eileen

Communication with Kerryn was excellent and I really enjoyed taking care of Louie. Ralph and Brian mostly did their own thing but always made an appearance at mealtime. Kerry and Lance’s home was a pleasure to look after with great walks along the adjacent estuary. Looking forward to housesitting for them next month. Eileen

Louie is a wonderful dog to care for and spend time with. He is a very devoted companion (following me from room to room often). I enjoyed taking him for walks at the nearby estuary reserve, and just chasing him round in circles with his toy rabbit. The cats are more chill and distant but also lovely. A very nice house and garden with great nature walks nearby. Kerryn is a great communicator. Thank you
Louie is a delight and so easy to walk. He explores off the lead along the estuary path. Kerryn and Lance's beautiful home is right on the estuary, a pleasure to housesit at. Communication was great, always clear, warm and timely. Ralph and Brian the cats, wander in and out as it pleases them, turning up for food and pats. Thanks so much!
An amazing housesit and one of our favourites so far! Kerryn was warm, friendly and really easy to communicate with. The cats - Ralph was super friendly from the get go and Brian took a day to warm up but be the 3rd night was snuggling up to us in bed. Louie the dog - what a lovely gentle soul he was! Despite us having to put a cone and sock on him (as he'd just had a little procedure) he put up with it all with such grace. The house was lovely, the views breathtaking and a great location for ... Absolutely 💯 amazing sit. Such a stunning home, with INCREDIBLE harbour views. Louie is adorable and quickly became my shadow. We did two walks a day along the Harbour ... he LOVES fetching a stick, and his three swims into the channel each walk. I also took him on a doggie day trip to the Wairoa River where we met up with my family and their dogs ... what fun they all had. Ralph and Brian warmed up to me (eventually) so I was spoilt with cat cuddles too. Great communication from Kerryn, ... MoreAbsolutely 💯 amazing sit. We had the most wonderful time looking after Louie, Brian and Ralph in this beautiful home! Kerryn & Lance made us feel so welcome and comfortable - everything was easeful and communication was excellent. And we would jump at the chance to house sit for this lovely family again!
We had very clear, easy and prompt communication with Kerryn and Lance before, during and at hand over of our stay. They are an awesome couple. Their home was super comfortable, easy to be in, with an awesome view and close to all amenities. Louie (the dog) is an awesome sweet natured furbaby and we had loads of fun. He is super well behaved. Ralph was super easy to take care of. We would highly recommend Kerryn and Lance and their housesit. We would definitely housesit here ... I had a truly wonderful experience with this house/dog/cat sit. Kerryn and I connected through the site, then met - on meeting we easily got on with each other, building instant rapport. We continued with easy friendly communication. On arriving to their house sit - I was greeted by the very gorgeous Louie and Ralph ( the animals). The house was fabulously clean and an absolute pleasure to live in for a couple of weeks - they even left me some amazing hot cross buns ! Louie was an absolute ... We looked after Kerryn and Lance's house over Christmas and New Years. Their house is beautiful with gorgeous views of Tauranga harbour/estuary. Their lovable dog Louie is full of energy and so much fun to be around. He loves to go swimming for his ball - a lot :) Their cat Ralph is very laid back and friendly but we didn't see him much, he's independent! Otumoetai is a great suburb with lovely views of the Mount when you walk around & follow the estuary track. Loved our time here and ...
