Our home

Our house is a 1902 Villa in rural Kawakawa Bay.

We are 5km from Kawakawa Bay and Orere Point and a few minutes from 440 Mountain Bike Park. Close to Hunua and Waitawa Park if you enjoy Bush Walking.

I will have made sure everything has been cleaned before we go so the animals require minimal work - feeding once a day and maybe a walk for the dogs on the property if the weather is good, otherwise they have a large area to play in.

We are rural but also only 35 minutes from shops and the supermarket.
The beach is 5 minutes in each direction from the property and a gas station and dairy within 5km.

I need someone who is confident with dogs and loves animals. All the animals require food and water once a day. The chickens will just need the coop scraped out once a day and the eggs collected.

The dogs do not require walking but if the sitter feels up to it then we have 23 acres to take them for a walk.

I really enjoyed my stay. The dogs are great, so we'll trained and such lovely dogs. Everything i needed was nearby. I would happily housesit again
Absolutely loved this house sit! Julia was very relaxed and easy to communicate with. The house is lovely and very big, situated in the countryside with lots of land for the animals. Raisin the cat is the most affectionate cat I've ever met, she always wants a pet or a cuddle. All four dogs were super friendly and well trained so it made for an easy house sit. The house sit with Julia her dogs, cat and chickens was lovely! Communication with Julia went smoothly. Also there are some nice walking / running tracks near by!
