Our home

Our house is a bit unique. Technically it is a garage, or at least will be one day, but it's no standard garage. One day we plan to build a home on this land, but for now have made ourselves a cosy home in our ~90m2 garage studio.

It has a large kitchen with dishwasher, but no oven (there is a cooktop, airfryer and microwave). The bathroom is fully tiled and has a great shower, plus there is a heated towel rail. We have Apple TV with a bunch of streaming services; Apple, Disney Netflix and Neon.

The bedroom is in a loft area, and does require climbing a ladder to get up and down so please bear that in mind.

The house is down a long (200 meter) private tree-lined driveway, A hidden oasis. The section is 3000m2. And there is a north-facing deck and hanging egg chair - perfect for reading in the sun.

favoriteWhat we love about our area

We are very lucky to live in a beautiful area. Halswell Quarry is across the road with lots of great walking tracks. There is also the lovely Quarry Cafe. Up the hill is a fantastic walk up to the Summit Rd - Kennedy's Bush Track. Halswell New World supermarket is 3km away.

We have a beautiful furry family, two dogs, one cat, and four chickens. Bill the cat rules the roost, and he is a cool dude. Easy going, loves a wee couch snuggle. Otto is a sweet 11 year old Huntaway x Rottweiler. He just loves people, and loves belly rubs. Very easy-going boy. Louis is a fun loving (but also snooze loving) 8 month old Standard Poodle.
And the four happy chickens round out our wee family.

medicationMedication/treatment required

Otto has one tablet with breakfast, Just throw it in the bowl and he eats it. He also has some supplements sprinkled on each meal.
