Our home

We are looking for a reliable person/couple/family to look after our 3-bedroom house whilst our family are away during the summer holiday break. This time it's 22 Dec until 10 Jan. We live close to the Brookfield shops, local bus routes, Carmichael Reserve, and bike paths. We are a 5-minute drive to town and a 15-minute drive to a variety of beaches. We have unlimited WIFI and can provide you with bicycles if desired.

We love our proximity to outdoor activities - walking paths (both bush trails and local walkways), McLarens Falls State Park, 45 minute drive to the Rotorua Lakes, geothermal hot pools (one is a 2-minute drive up the road), beaches (Mt Maunganui beach, Omokoroa Beach, Waihi Beach).

Our pets

Ruby is a Huntaway-Labrador Cross. She is a big dog who loves children. She sleeps in the house. She is used to being left in our fenced yard during the day. Ruby needs one walk a day of approx 30 mins - 1 hour. She walks on a lead as she is nervous towards other dogs. She has a play date with another dog twice a week in our yard to keep her socialised.

We are a NZ couple with two children. We are South Islanders who have settled in Tauranga because we love the warmth and proximity to both cities and outdoor activities.

We had a wonderful time over Christmas looking after Kim's beautiful dog Zoe. A lovely walk in the nature reserve within walking distance of the house was our daily treat!.
