We have three pets: two cats, Bean and Dumpling, and our dog, Mousse.

Bean will be six at the time of the sit. She is a small tuxedo cat who is fairly independent and a little standoffish unless she decides you are her person. She mostly likes to do her own thing, but she is very food motivated, which helps with routine.

Dumpling will be five. She is a slightly hefty 6.5kg tabby cat who can be a bit shy at first, but once she warms up, she is very cuddly and even enjoys being picked up.

The cats do not really get along with each other, although they mostly tolerate each other. They can have the odd noisy disagreement, but it is usually more sound than anything serious. They have their own end of the house and are kept separate from Mousse. They are fed twice a day, let outside during the day, and need to be brought in before dark. Their Tractive collars need to be charged as needed, and the litter tray needs to be emptied every 1–2 days. They usually sleep on the bed at night.

Mousse is our Dachshund x Cocker Spaniel and will be one year old at the time of the sit. He is very sweet, affectionate and a bit of a needy boy, but he is also incredibly cute and full of personality. He needs two walks a day, is fed twice a day, and sleeps overnight in his pen. He loves attention and being included, and he is well-behaved enough to come along to dog-friendly pubs or cafés if you feel like taking him out with you.

The main thing for this sit is being comfortable following the pets’ separate routines, especially keeping the cats and dog apart.
