Our home

Hi there! We are Chris , Ann and Stormy 🐾

Our home is located in Maeroa, quite close to Hamilton City centre! (5mins drive).
The Base: Te Awa is located approximately 10mins away by car. So you get easy access to almost anything the city can offer. Shopping, dining, golf driving range etc!

Our fur-child Storm will be your host 🐾

Our fur-child Storm will be your host 🐾
She is a 4 year-old Huntaway x Doberman rescue pup with a big personality. She is house trained, toilet trained and sleeps in her crate at night. Knows her basic commands like sit, down and wait. (not foolproof)
She is very friendly but her size and her bark precedes her.
She will be very excited to see you but will not take long for her to start begging for belly rubs and snuggles.
Her care will mainly be walks, meals and of course lots of love. ♥️

The house is compact with, 2-bedrooms, one of which is utilised as a WFH office, unfortunately it will have to be locked when we are away due to company policy. So basically the setup is a comfy studio with a small lawn. The deck backs into a ravine that offers 100% nature vibes while still being in the heart of the city. Enjoy your summer days on the deck and enjoying the sounds of the birds 🍃

Off-street parking will be available for you if you have a car. 🚗
There is no garden to take care of as it is a relatively small section, and will be mowed shortly before we leave.

favoriteWhat we love about our area

We love how close it is to the centre but with a relaxing view and peace and quiet. We are located on a back section almost at the end of the cul-de-sac. The view from the deck beautiful especially in the mornings, you wouldn't think you lived 5mins away from the centre!

Meet our 4-year-old Huntaway × Doberman, Storm! 👑🐾 House-trained, knows all the basics (sit, stay, wait, come—you know, when she feels like it 😉). One good walk a day keeps her happy, followed by a peanut butter-filled lick mat and plenty of cuddle time. She’s affectionate, well-mannered, and always ready to be your shadow—or your blanket if you’ll let her! She is a big girl but an absolute bubba and will chill and cuddle with you in the couch.

The experience with Strom was amazing, she is wonderful. At first we were a little scared with her size but then we discovered that she is adorable, she likes caresses, going for a walk, eating her peanut butter and spending time on the couch. We really had a great time, we had no problems in communication because Ann was very nice, the house is also comfortable and does not need great care, so it was very easy to spend time taking care of the house.
