Our home

We are looking for a regular pet sitter to spend the odd weekend with Jess, our 9 year old border collie. Jess is shy with strangers so we are looking for someone who is happy to spend a bit of time to build a relationship with Jess. Once she knows you, she is super affectionate and a very easy dog to be around.

favoriteWhat we love about our area

We live in Ravensbourne, which offers the perfect combination of rural living (we have donkeys and a goat as our neighbours) while being only 15 minutes from Dunedin city centre. It is a very quiet neighbourhood with direct access up to Signal Hill which makes for a lovely place to go on dog walks.

Our pets

Jess is a shy border collie that needs a bit of time to get used to strangers. Once she feels comfortable, she is super affectionate and very loyal. Her favourite pastime is getting belly rubs on the rug, sleeping in the grass in the backyard and meticulously removing the stuffing from her stuffed toy.

Jess is 9 years old but still loves going on adventures, whether it's long walks, runs or chasing all the sea gulls off the beach. Her recall is really good so she usually walks off leash, but she needs to be managed carefully around people and children.
