Unsworth Heights

We are looking for a kind and loving couple (or a single) who is happy to look after our three beautiful fur babies - Henry, Mia and Obi.

Henry and Mia are 10 year old Birman cats (brother and sister) who are super smart, calm and affectionate (sensitive wee 'older' bubba's who miss us terribly when we go away).

Obi is our 1 year old Labrador. Such a super loving, intelligent and smoochy wee fella who loves long walks, back scratches and food - of course! He's still trying to get Henry and Mia to love him too .... hint: they haven't been won over by him just yet; chasing them to play with him, or barking to say "hi" doesn't seem to work too well!

We're looking for someone who has a calming influence and genuine affinity & heart for dogs and cats; as well as being able to juggle their different needs.

Our lil cat family members relax around the home as they wish, even more so now that they are older - it is very unusual for them to be away from the house for long (ie more than an hour). We do keep an eye out to make sure they are able to toilet outside (they recently stopped as Obi chased them a few times)... hopefully this is resolved before the sit, but we have a well working strategy if not.

Obi has an internal space for himself and we open the ranch slider during the day so he can romp/play/roam around the back yard. We keep an eye out as much possible, as being an older pup, he still can get up to mischief. He has 1-3 walks per day. Our main routine is one in the morning and one at night time.

We are looking for someone who (if working) has a flexible WFH policy, so that the furries are not left at home alone for big portions of the day. At the moment Obi can be left inside for no longer than 3.5 hrs at a time (we still do not leave him outside when we are away).

We have a lovely, large, 2-level home, positioned next to a sunny reserve, with lots of walking tracks. We are close to the motorway to get to city or Albany within 5-15 mins (and to the nearby beaches within the same).

Apart from being caring companions for Henry, Mia and Obi and providing them lots of love, cuddles and conversations; we would appreciate if they could be brush/combed; checked for fur tangles and injuries; keep our indoor plants topped up with water, keep an eye on our outdoor vegetables (and spray / remove pests as needed) and keep the place tidy/as you found it. Do help yourself to the passionfruit, habanero chili, kale and cabbages as they become ready,

We mow the lawns before we go and will sweep the outdoor patio (the gum tree loves to shed leaves, so ensuring the drain is clear is key).
