Vauxhall Dunedin

We are looking for a reliable trust worthy animal lover who also loves the outdoors. We have two dogs that need plenty of exercise; they are use to going on two big walks a day, one during the morning and then one later in the day; so we will need someone who is prepared to take the dogs on good adventure walks rain or shine. We can supply a vehicle for them to use when taking the dogs out, the dogs aren't the 'walk around the block' types! Because they get a lot of exercise they are very chilled at home. Ideally we would like someone who can come and stay for a few days before we go away so the dogs can get use to them and also so I can take them on some walks, to show them where to go and so they are comfortable with the dogs and vice versa.

We have a lovely sunny home which is well equiped with the comforts of modern living, Modern fully equiped kitchen (coffee machine, air fryer, instant pot, slow cooker etc) 65" TV, Play Station, connected to Netflix and other Media Channels. 3 Bedrooms, two bathrooms, Home Gym, BBQ Station, Home Sound Systems for music. We live in Vauxhall, Dunedin which is close to a main bus route, but we will supply a vehicle so that you will be able to take the dogs on adventures. We allow the dogs on the couch (on blankets) and on the beds, but the larger dog prefers to sleep in his bed on the floor, he just comes up on to the bed for cuddles in the morning. Both Dogs have great temperaments. Flash, is a 9 year old Jack Russell (he will be 10 when we go away), he loves to sit next to you on the couch and sleep next to you on the bed, but he's not so fond of being picked up and cuddled. Baxter is a 2 year old Foxy, Kelpie, Heading Dog Whippet Cross (he will be almost 3 when we go away), he is simply devine, everyone who meets him falls in love with him and wants a 'Baxter' dog, he loves to cuddle and has the sweetest nature. Both dogs are use to being allowed to chase and catch wild rabbits and possums, so it is vital that whoever House and Pet sits for us can cope with this aspect of their personalities. We also have a 5 year old cat called Smokey who is a dude, a real character, very chilled out and friendly, so whoever house sits for us MUST be an animal lover and like to spend time at home. The animals will need to be feed twice a day. The dogs are use to being with me most of the time, they are fine to leave at home alone for a couple of hours if you go out to dinner or to the movies etc, but not on a regular basis. I am a dog walker so they are normally out with me for most of the day adventuring, and we are real home bodies so don't go out much, we love to chill on the couch and watch movies cuddled up with the dogs.
