We need a house sitter

Waikato - Thames-Coromandel

Bear

We have two dogs a cat and horse and some sheep, and some cattle, our horse can look after herself. We may need our stock moved but will make sure it is easy, they are very quiet. We are looking for animal loving people to watch over our fur children. We have a spa pool so let us know what Temperature you like and we can adjust it to suit. Our house is just over 6 years old. Very comfortable and we have loverly neighbours if you need a hand. They live about 400 mts away. We have Starlink so you can call and send messages through WI FI. We are about 20 minutes into Whitianga town. 15 minutes to Hot water Beach and Cooks Beach. We have a lovely day spa in Whitianga.

Beautiful location and home. The friendliest and most well-behaved pets we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Bear and Len were charming hosts who made us feel more than welcome. On an extended vacation where we were missing our pets, having the pleasure of sitting for Bear and Len's furry menagerie was a welcome reminder of how much fun it is to have great pets in your life. We loved every minute of our stay and look forward to having a chance to sit for them again in the future..

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bears beautiful home! The scenery from their outside sitting area was a dream! We even enjoyed the “tasks” of taking care of the farm. Their instructions for the animals were clear and very manageable! It felt like a true vacation at the house as well as exploring local beaches and hikes. We could have easily stayed longer. Thank you for everything!

Had such an amazing stay at Bear and Len’s! They were so accomodating to us, gave us advice on travel in the Coromandel and cooked us a delicious dinner on the first night. It was an incredible experience staying on the farm, and all their animals were so easy to take care of. Their beautiful pups all had their own fun personalities and it was a joy to take care of them, as well was all the other animals. We already miss them! Thanks for such a great stay :)

Such friendly animals that made us feel so welcomed! Lovely location and Bear was very helpful! just be aware if your on vodaphone you won't have any signal at the house and no internet. Xxx

Such a lovely housesit with a beautiful home, gorgeous location, friendly, easy going hosts and a delightful menagerie of pets. The three dogs were well behaved, very friendly and a lot of fun - they love to play and can chase sticks and balls for hours but were also happy hanging out with us around the house. The rest of the animals were very easy to care for. We were provided with great written notes and Bear (our host) went through everything clearly with us before she left. We enjoyed ... MORE

Bear kept in constant communication with us. We reached their beautiful home after being caught in the long weekend traffic but they were so understanding. There dogs greeted us and the rest of the pets were so easy to look after. Bear had emailed us the instructions for their animals well in advance along with a printed copy and this helped with the smooth running of their house.
