We have a 3 bedroom modern and warm house in Woodend, North Canterbury. The local area has a dairy, coffee shop and cafes within walking distance. More restaurants and supermarket are a 5 minute drive.
You will be sharing the house with 2 cats! Cherry and Tilly are shy at first but will warm to you. We bring them in for food as it gets dark and keep them in at night. Other than that, it's standard cat care - cuddles, cat biscuits and blankets.
Minimal garden care required as it's winter. Feel free to weed if you wish! There are a few houseplants to water.
We are a non-smoking/vaping household and apply the same rules to guests and house sitters.
Looking after Laura and Marc's house and garden was a pleasure. We had a great time with the cats and miss them already. Woodend was a perfect spot to explore North Canterbury and we really enjoyed the opportunity they gave us to house sit for them.
