Feilding Manawatu

I am from the UK, and would like to plan a trip back in 2025. I am a widow, and live alone with my male Border Terrier and female cat. I am looking into using a house/pet sitter because I would like to visit the UK for an extended period, approx 3 months. I live on the edge of Feilding in a small 3 bedroom house built on a steep slope. I have a wood fire and a heat pump, and plenty of firewood. I have some help with the garden, so garden work would be minimal, maybe leaf sweeping and dog waste management. Part of my garden is fully enclosed for the dog. I may be considering a house sitter for a shorter break before my trip to the UK, maybe later in 2024. Feilding CBD is walking distance from my house, and there is a bus service to Palmerston North. The airport is accessible by bus, or 15 minutes drive. There are two supermarkets in Feilding, and quite a few eateries and takeaway food outlets. My house is in a quieter part of town, with good neighbours . The steep driveway makes it difficult to access for anyone with mobility issues, as it is not possible to park a vehicle right next to the door of the house, and there are steps at both entrances. Update: My dog is used to someone being at home for part of the day, I work short days, and I come home at lunchtime. I would therefore be looking for someone who would not be out all day every day.
