Kia ora, I am looking for a sitter to look after my cat Muffin while staying in my cosy off-grid tiny home. This is best suited to one person as Muffin gets a bit crowded out with two people in the house!

We are based on a rural section just south of Papakura, 10 mins from Drury and the motorway. It's a quiet and peaceful spot, surrounded by ponga and native forest, with gorgeous views across to the Manukau heads and West Auckland. I own the tiny house and rent the land. Friendly neighbours nearby and safe area.

Muffin is a 15 year old lady who is very affectionate and smoochy. She's a very talkative kitty and will have great conversations with you. You don't have to hang out at the house all the time, but she does need some cuddle time each day so she doesn't get lonely. Muffin is also kept inside at night.

We are off-grid with solar power, tank water, gas for water heating and cooking. Kitchen has all the amenities you need - gas stove and oven, fridge/freezer, kettle, etc. Queen bed upstairs with full-height mirror. Bathroom has full-size shower, and a composting toilet. Large desk downstairs including a monitor you can connect your laptop to, comfy couch, wall-mounted smart TV. There is wifi available.

There is a generator to charge the solar battery if it runs out. You may need to use the generator to charge up the battery on occasion, depending on the weather. If you're up for an off-grid adventure and want to try out the tiny house lifestyle, my place is for you!

There's also lots to see and do in the area including the Hunua Ranges 15 mins drive away which is a great hiking spot.
