Mana Porirua

Hello! We are looking for a house sitter to come and stay while we are away over the Christmas period. We have 1 dog, a Bichon x toy poodle; 4 cats, two young tonkinese, and two elderly Burmese; a pond with 1 fish; and 12 free range chickens.

One of the elderly cats has diabetes and requires an insulin injection twice daily at 7AM and 7PM; this might sound daunting but I promise it's easy! The dog also isn't the biggest fan of men due to being abused as a puppy, so a woman or a very patient man would be ideal. The dog also has dodgy knees, so doesn't require much exercise. So playing with toys for a few minutes or a short walk is all that's needed.

The dog and some of the cats are massive cuddlers, so they will definitely join you in bed each night and scream at you until you sit down so they can snuggle into your lap.

Lovely warm sunny house with a view of the Pāuatahanui inlet. You're welcome to eat as many eggs as you want and raid our veggie garden and fruit trees! You'll have access to: wifi; Amazon Prime, Disney+, and Neon accounts; fully insulated and double glazed house, with a good heating system if it gets chilly; fully decked out kitchen, which you're welcome to raid; full laundry you're welcome to use; a king size bed; a quiet house away from busy road; close to areas such as the Camborne Walkway, and Plimmerton Beach; supermarket a short walk from the house, as well as the Mana train station.
