Waimate

Our house is a comfortable villa style farmhouse with large kitchen, small dining room small lounge and large lounge. There is a freshly renovated spare bedroom with Queen size bed, suitable for house sitters. Main form of heating is wood stove, plenty of cut firewood available. Woodstove has cook top and oven for cooking, has wetback to heat water and is good for drying laundry. There is outdoor pizza oven and outdoor bath . Location is rural, 8 km from Waimate. Beach nearby is good for beach fishing, lots of nearby walking tracks. We have a peacock, so scrubbing the wooden verandahs with hot soapy water is necessary cause of peacock poop.
