Waiuku Auckland - South

Hello! We are very excited to be off on our first overseas trip since 2018 and would love to have our pets stay in the comfort of their own home while we are away.
Single level home with two bedrooms and a home office set up. We have a spa pool, cosy games / media room and large (1000+ books) library you're welcome to use during your stay.
Most importantly, our pets! We have a Shetland Sheepdog who will be 11 months old when we go away, so still young. He loves going for walks in the nearby Waiuku forest, but local walks near home are well-liked too! We have a 7-year-old rescue cat who is quite independent, and likes her own space, but may come in for a cuddle at bedtime, especially on cooler nights. We also have a small fish pond that is very low maintenance, and should just need feeding once a week. We would prefer if someone was home most of the time, not working 9-5 elsewhere, as our pets are used to this with us both working from home full-time.
Our backyard is park-like, very tranquil and private overlooking the water. Mowing the lawns may be required once or twice, but we don't expect you to have to do gardening unless you'd like to!
We live down the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, with the local golf course metres away. 20min walk / 5min drive into town with shops, takeaways, cafes, supermarket, etc. 15min drive to the Waiuku Forest, 15min drive to Kariotahi Beach, or keep driving up the beautiful Awhitu Peninsula for some spectacular local scenery (we recommend the blue sand and dunes / cliffs at Hamilton's Gap for some wild west coast scenery).
