Springlands, Blenheim

Mary and I enjoyed our time looking after Kathryn’s home, garden and Pepe the cat for 20 days. The house is a smaller attractive and comfortable easy care home.a The gardens are well kept and also attractive. Pepe is a character. He comes and goes through his cat door at will and spends most of his time outdoors. He is very cute, when he wants something he sits looking pleadingly and raises his paws. We enjoyed a cuddle with him in the evenings. Blenheim is an interesting area to explore, thousands of hectares of vineyards and nice scenery, very impressive. We highly recommend Kathryn’s place as a house/pet sit location.

Pepe is a very cute cat and was a delight to look after. He was a little nervous at first but within the week he had obviously decided we were ok and joined us for evenings on the sofa and nights on the bed! Kathryn’s house is comfortable with log burner and heat pump and in a nice location in Blenheim. We look forward to seeing both her and Pepe again later on in the year

It was a pleasure to housesit for Kathryn and caring for her affectionate cat Pepe. We got along from the very start and enjoyed keeping each other company in the evenings when Pepe would snuggle up beside me. Kathryn's home is situated such that I was able to explore Blenheim and nearby surrounds and pop up to the supermarket with ease. Watering was easy and the garden a pleasure to be in. I enjoyed the privilege of adding some fresh garden greens and herbs to my evening meals.

We had a most enjoyable & pleasant stay in Kathryn's comfortable home which is a 15min walk from the centre of town. The house is light & sunny with a large west facing deck . We enjoyed tomatoes & zucchini from her garden. Pepe is a delightful cat , easy to look after & friendly. Kathryn was welcoming & left clear instructions. We highly recommend this sit.
