We need a house sitter

Bay of Plenty - Rotorua

Barb

**** Sitter found for this period. Thank you to those who responded.

We are offering a private detached unit in the country, separate from the main house. It is self contained...a living area, dble bedroom, bathroom with washing machine and underfloor heating. Minimal kitchen facilities but you have the use of the main house kitchen if prefered. (There is the option of staying in the main house as well.)

Our 2 cats are typical independant country animals. Sleep most of the day, and are self sufficient. They feed from a biscuit dispenser, but enjoy a pat and also some soft food daily πŸ˜† (If you're out exploring, and they feel like meat, they'll catch themselves something!)

As far as the grounds are concerned....watering and weeding the very basic gardens would be appreciated. You should have experience with a ride-on mower (or be a quick learner) πŸ˜ƒ It takes around half an hour to mow the lawn, and this is the main reason we need a sitter (apart from cat company of course) 🐈 πŸˆβ€β¬›οΈ

Our property is around 10mins from Rotorua city and 3mins from Ngongotaga Village....which provides most needs. It is also close to several tourist attractions. Pretty quiet and peaceful though,
Look forward to hearing from interested sitters.

Barb and Colin’s place is beautiful and so peaceful, nestled in a valley, but still close to Rotorua. Lovely garden (yummy tomatoes) and quiet outlook. They are so welcoming and generous, they also let me stay longer so I could see more of Rotorua. Cats are cute and easy to look after. Definitely recommend, amazing house sit.
