We are in our late 30ies, no smoker, no children, and very tidy. We are originally from Poland but we have travelled the world and haven't lived in our home country for the last 12 years. Six years ago, we moved to New Zealand for Magdalena's doctoral studies, and we have loved it ever since. We love the beauty and outdoorsiness of this place. Even the harsh UV doesn't bother us too much. We have cross the country back and forth and we are always keen to share a story of two with you.
Jakub is an aerospace engineer. Magdalena is an industrial designer. We are full-time professionals but your furball will have full attention after hours and when we can WFH. We have flexible working hours to beat the traffic and we are never late for the feeding time.
We are more than happy to take care of your furry friend while you are away. We are experienced house and pet-sitters (see reviews). We took care of cats, dogs, chinchillas, rabbits, fish, turtles, birds, chooks, ducks and donkeys.
We love house-sitting with the sun worshippers aka the cats as they tend to entertain us the most. We adapt easily and animals tend to like us. Either if it is a smoochy lap cat or a very timid one, you might expect that she/he might end up snoozing in our bed on the first night.
Extras:
Happy to water your plants, maintain the outdoor greenery, mow grass and collect the mails for you. We tend to send updates often as well.

We are moving to Auckland. I (Magdalena) am applying solo for now, as I will be by myself for a wee while, so any extra cuddly furball is a bonus 😀.

Magdalena and Jakub house- and cat-sat for me for a little over three weeks. They were fabulous! Not only did they update me weekly by email with happy pet photos, but I returned to a lovely, clean and tidy house, fresh baking, and everything ship-shape. They also dealt with a leaky roof and contacted my roofer for me. I could not ask for better, My cat will be missing their attention. Five stars.
We were very pleased with Magdalena as our house sitter. She left the house clean and tidy, and looked after Molly well. We would happily recommend her.

Magdalena looked after my aging cat brilliantly, including giving him daily medication. I came home to a very happy cat, clean and tidy house, laundry done and a delicious pear dish for my dessert! I will be contacting Magdalena and Jakub for house sits again, and I am happy to recommend them.

We couldn't have found a safer pair of hands to take care of our home and wee cat Billie while we went completely off-grid for six days. Don't hesitate to have Magdalena and Jakub come and housesit for you...they are so friendly, communicative and responsible. They looked after my boys almost better than I do I think! I had detailed updates and had no worries at all while I was away. They also left the place spic and span which was really appreciated. I would love to have Magdalena and Jakub back sometime :)
This is the second time I've had Magdalena and Jakob house and cat-sit for me, and they will continue to be my first go-to choice if I'm looking for a house sitter. Fabulous, lovely couple. The house is left in perfect condition and my cat loves them. Also they are excellent

Magdalena and Jakub are in a league of their own - trustworthy, professional, reliable and delightful! They took amazingly good care of our home, garden and cat. All three looked better when we got back, than when we left them! The house was glistening clean, the plants were thriving and our cat is still missing them. On top of all that, we were greeted with a delicious home-baked cake when we arrived back from overseas. We'd love to have them back again!
I'm so happy to have had Magdalena & Jakub house sit for me recently. They're such a lovely couple and so friendly, I knew as soon as I met them that I could trust them with my house and my cat while I was away. Magdalena sent me updates every few days via WhatsApp with pictures of my cat which was great. Absolutely would recommend Magdalena - she was great! Easy to communicate with (and she shared photos of our kitty throughout the sit). We would have her house sit again in a second.
Fantastic young couple.Right from the very first contact we felt assured we had the right people for our sit, When Magdalena and Jakub arrived they clicked with our cats and the house, we went off knowing our furbabies were in great hands.

We knew as soon as we met Magdalena and Jakob that they would take great care of our pets! Such a genuine and caring couple, our dog didn't leave them alone as we made final preparations to leave. We felt totally relaxed about our house/pets the whole time we were away, and when we returned.... the house was so clean! That was so nice to return to after a long drive, an unexpected kindness, thank you!
Magda and Jakub are wonderful housesitters - they sat for us for just under 2 weeks and were communicative both before and during the sit. On our return the house was lovely, clean and tidy and our pets were very happy and healthy. Magda had even baked a loaf of bread for us to try.
All in all we would thoroughly recommend these housesitters. We would happily have them back in a flash!
We highly recommend Magdalena and Jakub. They are friendly, reliable and trustworthy people, as well as speedy communicators. While we were away for 5 weeks they looked after our house very well and our cat was very happy. We enjoyed receiving updates of our cat happily sitting on their laps, her favourite pastime! We got back to a tidy and clean house and they were waiting at home for us to welcome us back. I wouldn't hesitate in asking them again to house sit for us on any future trips.
Magdalena and Jakub were excellent sitters! We asked them to keep us updated and throughout our time away they would frequently send photos and stories about our pets. They were always quick to respond and when we returned the house was clean and in great condition and our cats were healthy and happy. If we go away again and they're available they'll be our first choice. Highly recommended!
We were really impressed with Magdalena and Jakub. They were prompt at replying, really friendly, and went out of their way to come over to meet us and Monty (on a day when the public transport in our area was not good!) We felt really comfortable with them staying in our house, and came back to it looking great.
