Hello!
We are Xime (Marketing Professional) and Jose (Journalist), and just like you, we share a deep and great love for animals.
We are a couple of travelers who are currently fulfilling our dreams by getting to know New Zealand. We had to leave our little family member, our kitten, with my mother, for a while. We miss her very much, so caring for and giving love to other animals helps us feel closer to her. And currently we are enjoying the company of beautiful animals, necessary to recharge our energies. We are also fascinated by knowing the stories and personalities behind each pet, as we learn more and more to grow as pet sitters.
We have extensive experience in caring for these incredible creatures, such us kittens, puppies, hamsters, chickens, ducks, doves, lambs and even a horse.
In New Zealand, through the TrustedHouseSitters app and the Kiwi House Sitters website, we have been caring for wonderful pets for 6 months in almost ten homes of families we have been grateful to meet.
Throughout our beautiful life experience (more than 10 years) taking care of animals, the most challenging and rewarding thing was dealing with Jacinta, a mare who did not like to be alone, since she went from being in an equestrian club, surrounded by many people and other horses, to a field . where she was the only mare. We were able to give her emotional support and the company she needed. On the other hand, we took care of four kittens that had been abandoned and needed a lot of love and especially medical care.
