We have been full-time house & pet sitters since March 2015 and have completed >80 successful sits! We have met some truly wonderful people and animals, and are loving this lifestyle! We are new members to this site and because our previous sits have been thru another platform (TrustedHousesitters) we have included screen shots of some reviews in our photos. We can also share a link to our profile and all of our glowing reviews, if you’d like.

We retired in the Fall of 2013 and have done quite a bit of traveling (All 50 United States & 61 Countries) and are taking advantage of house & pet sitting opportunities as a way to expand our list of destinations. We are both non-smokers, an active couple who enjoy walking, hiking, biking and just being outdoors. We are also animal lovers, which makes us a natural fit for those with dogs who need exercise and play time!

We have found that when we travel, we prefer longer stays, but more importantly we enjoy being in a residential neighborhood, surrounded by locals. We get a completely different experience than we would by staying in a hotel surrounded by other tourists. This way we get to truly experience an area, its people, culture and daily life. Also, we lovelovelove having furry friends around to keep us entertained! And now that we know the difference and have met so many wonderful people and pets, we can’t imagine traveling any other way!

We are both very clean, tidy and organized people. We are very familiar and competent with all the little touches and care required as home and pet owners. We have also owned a vacation home and we are familiar with the process of vetting guests, so we understand your concerns and requirements of us as guests in your home.
