  • Kat was around farm animals from young age and helping her mum around horses a lot. Then as a vet nurse working mostly with smallies, but sometimes goats or sheeps too. We did quite a few housesits on various farms in past year, taking care of some cows, sheeps, donkey, horse, chooks and pig.

Hi there!
Our names are Katerina, Tomas and Ami. We are from Czech Republic, but living in New Zealand for past 8 years. We are all residents and as we are not bound by my partner's job anymore, we decided to change our lifestyle, add little bit more freedom, adventure and just enjoy being together. That's why we started house-sitting again.
We looked after farmlands, lifestyle blocks, townhouse, beach house and all kinds of pets and farm animals.

Tomas is fit, energetic and hardworking. He has experiences as a gardener, but most of his life he worked with glass.
I am certified massage therapist, but before I started to take care of people, I worked as a vet nurse for seven years, so your four legged friends will be in good hands with me.
Ami is our sweet 4 year old, she's very easy going child with love for animals and outdoors.

We all love traveling and exploring new places, meeting new people and getting to know their lifestyles, hobbies and interests. When we stay in someone's home, we always try to be helpful, respectful and caring.

Kat and Tomas were great! I was away three months and they kept the cats happy and the house spotlessly clean, kept me informed with how things were going, and coped admirably with minor problems (a door knob fell off and Tomas sourced and fitted the replacement lock; something went wrong with the water supply and they communicated with me and we worked out how to fix it). Kat and Tomas and wee Amelie were wonderful dog and house sitters. The house was left very clean and tidy, our dog was very well cared for and we even had some soup waiting for us on our return home! I would highly recommend this family for home and pet sitting.

Katerina, Tomas, and little Ami are charming people and wonderful house sitters. They took our dog, Moana, for daily walks, watered our house plants, and took good care of our house and furniture. While they were here, Tomas also did some work with our wider farm team and Katerina ran a women’s circle for the local community. We returned from almost three weeks in the South Island to a beautifully tidy house, a home cooked meal and three dogs/three cats who, after showing they were pleased to see us, promptly went back to snuggling on the couch with their new "parents". Fantastic, my first time using house sitters and all went really well. We had no issues with Kat, Tomas and Ami. They are a lovely family, they cared for our house, garden and animals perfectly. Communication was fantastic we had photos of our happy animals and Ami enjoying herself. Our water bore broke when we were away, purely due to old age.
