We are a New Zealand couple who are retired and sailed around the world for 7 years. We sold our beautiful catamaran and had taken on a contract to run a boutique resort in Samoa when Covid hit whilst we were home here in New Zealand. We have missed gardening as our properties in New Zealand had large vegetable and flower gardens. We also had a much loved Welsh Springer Spaniel whom was lovingly with us for 15 years before we went sailing.
We love travel, good food and wine. We both ski. We both also Scuba Dive, with Richard being a Dive Instructor. We are both very well organised and fastidious about tidiness and cleanliness. We are non-smoking. We have a real can-do attitude and are very practical.
We have looked after Boutique Lodge in New Zealand (references available on request).
Travelling has seen us setup and manage a boutique ski resort in Japan (reference available on request).
We have owned numerous houses, some of which we managed as holiday homes.
We have Police Checks available upon request.

Jennifer and Richard are an amazing dream team who went above and beyond in every aspect of looking after our home, garden and pets. The communication was excellent before and during the sit with frequent friendly updates. Our pets were happy and healthy when we returned home. A very big thank you to Jen and Rchard for taking such good care of our house garden and of course Felix. He seems to have been very happy with his carers. The house was absolutely immaculate on return and there were lots of nice touches outside in the garden. Great communication and we felt reassured that everything was in safe hands. Communication from Sonya and Devon was great - including thorough instruction on pool care. Lovely home with beautiful gardens and pool. Great location for exploring. Very easy care pets, Nero the pussy cat enjoyed pats and the bunny rabbit loved the green food he received.
Jennifer and Richard looked after our dogs and home very well. The communication was easy and they are very reliable. Highly recommended.

Jennifer & Richard are just fabulous people. Great communication, both prior, during and after the sit. Their care of our house and pets was superb. They left the house and areas they used spotlessly clean, and left lovely little touches for us like a card & flowers inside, which was lovely to come home to. I would highly recommend them as housesitters, they're totally trustworthy and just top notch people.
