Abbie & Ciaron

We are a couple from the UK, settled in New Zealand on a working holiday visa. We are based in Nelson, however we are keen to explore all areas of New Zealand over weekends and school holidays. We together share a love for animals and travel, hoping to combine both during our time in this beautiful country.

We both work at a primary school, with Abbie being a qualified teacher, and Ciaron working as a teacher aide, alongside boarding supervision duties at Nelson College. We love heading out for walks in the evenings and at weekends and pride ourselves on being tidy and attentive people.

We have experienced house and pet sitting for friends and colleagues at Nelson College in recent weeks and back in the UK. We have enjoyed this very much and it has been lovely having animal companions to spend days with.

At home we both own family dogs, and also have experience pet-sitting and looking after other animals. Abbie also keeps both indoor and outdoor plants, and has experience tending for neighbours gardens while they are on holiday.
