Kia ora/helo/hello,

My name is Lauren and I am a 22 year old female from South Wales in the United Kingdom. I am visiting New Zealand on a 23 month visa and to allow me to save more money and visit as many places as possible, I would love to do some house sitting!

I have a degree in English Literature and History from the University of Exeter, I have several years experience working in retail, and have worked in a student experience focused role at the university I graduated from. I love to travel and I am very creative, I love reading, drawing, scrapbooking, journaling, and crocheting. Also, I am a non-smoker.

I have been in New Zealand since September 2023 and since then, I have been staying with family in Whanganui, but I am now starting to look into my next steps travelling and exploring the country, which I'm very excited for.

I do not have a driver's license and rely on public transport or cycling to get around, so would prefer housesits that are in close proximity to public transport or are walkable from shops and other facilities.

While I have had no pets of my own, I love all animals and have experience looking after cats and dogs, and would love to look after any animals.

I am a freelance marketing assistant and work from home a lot of the time so will be around to look after any furry friends and look after the house. However, depending on the length of the housesit, I would potentially like to look for work opportunities in the area to integrate myself within the local community and gain more experience.
