Stuart Clarke & Janell Clarke

Hello, we are Stuart (43) and Janell Clarke (38) from Sydney Australia. We have been travelling on our two motorbikes for 10 years now around the world with our dogs. So far we have travelled across 109 countries in North and South America, Africa, Europe, Asia and now New Zealand. We are both engineers. Stuart is an electrical engineer and served 12 years in the Royal Australian Navy. Janell is a civil engineer and worked for the Council. We both grew up with animals and couldn't imagine a life without them. We have been married for 15 years and work well as a team. We are easy going, responsible and quick to learn. We are very fit and healthy. Our three dogs (Weeti, Shadow and Azra) are very well behaved, completely vaccinated and get on with other animals including dogs, cats, chickens, small animals and live stock.

Our first house sit was a great experience, we spent 10 weeks looking after 3 dogs, 2 cats and a lot of chickens. Our dogs loved the time they spent playing with the dogs and cats and we loved the experience of living on a rural property with a few daily chores necessary to keep the house going . Our stay in Portugal was extended thanks to Covid, where we fostered 2 kittens and nursed them from newborns to healthy and playful little cats ready to be adopted through a reputable rescue centre.
