I have been a house sitter and caretaker off and on for around 5 years on a lifestyle farm on Great Barrier Island. This was off-grid/solar, tank water, and required some orchard and general maintenance. Have a Class 2 & 4 truck licence and have driven a tractor, quad bike.

Hi I'm Sean, I am a self-employed software designer travelling New Zealand and working from my laptop.

I am fit, health-conscious, enjoy walks, the outdoors. I'm a non-smoker, non-drinker, but I can't do without my morning coffee!

I discovered house-sitting in 2018 when I was lucky enough to find a house-sit on Great Barrier Island where I became a caretaker looking after a lifestyle farm which is where I've been mostly for the last 5 years.

My ideal location is quiet and peaceful, rural, with interesting local walks. and I'm happy to walk dogs, feed the chooks and look after cats and pets.

I write my software a few hours during the day and I have my own internet hotspot, but I do appreciate internet if you have it available.

Sean looked after our two dogs Harry and Sugar for two weeks. He had excellent communication before and during the house sit. He did a great job looking after the dogs and he left the property clean and tidy. I would definitely recommend Sean, he is a kind and capable sitter.

Sean came to the rescue after my holiday got extended and needed to remain in MIQ for 2 weeks. He was flexible and that fitted in perfectly as we were unsure of our travel plans untill the last minute. Sean took great care of Kali and she looks really fit and healthy as he took her for longer walks than I usually would. Thanks Sean!
