Hi, I'm Ruth and I live in Perth Australia. With family and friends in New Zealand. I am expanding my membership from the Aussie house site to include NZ homes as well.
I have been using this site to look after my home and I'm now looking at caring for your home and animals!! I have completed many house sits over the past few years. , please check my reviews from the lovely families.
I absolutely love animals with experience with cats , chickens, goats, sheep,, horses fish , birds and small and very large dogs! I'm also very lucky to have lots of wonderful "granddogs"
I'm very fussy about keeping your home in perfect condition, I'm a non smoker and happy to potter in the garden as needed.
Ruth was a perfect house and hound sitter. She loved up Max and Sassy and was amazing when the New Years fireworks were being let off as they are extremely anxious with the noise.
Ruth left our house in lovely condition and also made a yummy salad for our lunch on arrival home.
I would recommend Ruth to anyone wanting a caring sitter.
Ruth is marvellous. We arrived home after a month to a spotless house, happy dogs and a home cooked meal.

We are the anxious type & leaving our 2 re-homed grey hounds is a massive deal. Ruth was very understanding & reassuring. She communicated well & even come to meet the family prior to the sit. (As timing & location allowed.) We couldn't have asked for more. Ruth looked after our home, car, puppies, horses & pet sheep as if they were her own. We could not have asked for a better house sitter, Ruth was fantastic and we would highly recommend her to anyone. The house and animals were cared for with love and great consideration. We arrived home to a wonderfully clean house, extremely happy animals, and tasty chicken curry all thanks to Ruth.
Absolutely recommend Ruth, came home to happy, healthy dogs, cleaner house than when I left and the veggie patch going strong. Would love to have her care for my pets and house again if needed.
Such a pleasure to write a review for Ruth. We came home to an immaculate home, a tenaciously cared for garden given just how drought stricken we currently are and very happy and healthy pets. Our dogs demand a lot of affection (!) and Ruth clearly gave it to them. Would absolutely love to have Ruth sit again and would highly recommend to anyone. She really and truly went above and beyond.
