Hi we are a super respectful retired couple living with extended family in the Marton countryside. We are experienced with cats, dogs, tropical fish, chickens and farm livestock.

Roxanne is a plant lover and at home has a plant on every available surface and Garry well he’s super handy on the tools.

Right now we are in the Bay of Plenty for the next 6 weeks, sharing a lovely home with both a cat and a dog. Then we are taking a wee break before carrying on down to Petone for Christmas/New Year, then open for new adventures.

Garry and I love long walks on the beach, coffees in the sun or the snow and we love an hot spa any time day or night.

We have for a long time kept multiple tanks of tropical fish, have had our own dog/s and at home and have a gorgeous young ginger cat with a huge personality, called Zimba.

We live rurally in Marton with 5 of our grandkids, their parents, 3 cats and a gaggle of chickens (more baby chicks than fresh eggs) all of who miss us much whilst we are out and about seeing more of our NZ but are also very happy to see us on video chats and when we return.

If you are looking for someone trustworthy, clean and caring then look no further. We are happy to do both short term and long term house sits.

Roxanne and Garry cared for our Bertie(dog) as if he were their own. He was a very happy puppy who fell in love with them. While Bertie was extremely happy to see us when we came home he was also sad to see them go. He was well fed, loved and so well cared for. The accommodation they stayed in was immaculate when they departed. Throughout the stay they kept in touch with us and often sent photos. So comforting when you are overseas. House sit was cancelled last minute due to health issues (ours - could not travel) . Gary and Roxanne are super communicators and are just that couple that make you feel instantly in touch and confident.. We have rebooked holiday for next year and really hope they can fulfill sir in 2025. Big thank you for their understanding.
