Honorary auntie to many dogs and cats.
After working in Asia and Europe for a few years (and being an SPCA volunteer and honorary animal auntie), I decided to return to New Zealand for a holiday - just before COVID-19 hit.
In the past, I have rescued a kitten with mange, a stray border collie puppy and a twice-dumped Labrador cross puppy, and adopted a timid older cat. I enjoy making friends with nervous pets, and delight in animals with character.
My current base is in Christchurch, where I have bought a new home. I know the trust that's needed to invite someone into your home and care for it.
I work from home so would be around during the day to hang out with your pets. I would also be delighted to send you photos, videos and general updates on how things are going with your fur babies.
I have a clean manual drivers' licence. Non-smoker. Calm, unflappable, caring. Fully vaccinated (3 shots) against COVID-19.
Active and fit, I love dancing, walking - even better with a furry friend - reading, writing, photography and watching movies. On certain sits, my mother will accompany me - she's not great with stairs, steps or uneven ground. References are available.
