My husband and I are a active retired couple that live in our own home in Hawera South Taranaki and have been self employed most of our working lives. Over the last 15 years we have owned a domestic cleaning business in Auckland and through this work we have been trusted with peoples homes and pets. We love animals and have had many different pets over our lifetime. Arthur and I enjoy visiting new places and meeting people and their pets. We have done housesitting in the past for our clients and have always said when we retire we would like to take this up again . We are looking forward to new adventures now that we have time. Arthur and I are quiet, clean, tidy and respectful of people's property, always leaving the owners home as we have found it.!

This was the second time we had Joyce and Arthur sit our lifestyle block and dog, so check out our earlier review, all the same comments apply!. Absolutely excellent sitters, pet minders and people as well. We knew it would be good when our normally car-shy dog jumped into their car even before they'd got out. As if to say 'welcome back, what took you so long - right lets go'. We returned from our week away to a lovely spotlessly clean and tidy house, well watered garden, and a calm and happy ... MORE

Joyce and Arthur are fabulous housesitters, we couldn’t recommend them more highly. As experienced housesitters ourselves, we had high expectations, and they were 💯 perfect! Just a few weeks after booking them, I found a house I really wanted to move into & put ours on the market. That didn’t phase them, and they so generously agreed to open homes during their sit!! We can never thank you enough for that Joyce & Arthur. You are a truly awesome couple. Thank you so very much. XX

Joyce and Arthur were absolutely wonderful. They took great care of my cat, and would send me updates on how she was doing. She was happy and settled with them, which was awesome as she's quite a timid cat. I can't recommend them enough, thank you both so much!

Joyce and Arthur are superb house sitters, and a really lovely couple as well. We can't recommend them highly enough and have already 'booked' them for some more sits. They took fantastic care of our lifestyle property and our beloved wee dog. We reckon our dog got more walks and beach visits with Arthur and Joyce than he'd hope to with us. I thouroughly recommend Joyce & Arthur. They are 100% trustworthy & reliable. They went way beyond the call of duty in terms of how they looked after our dog & care & attention of the house. It was looking cleaner & nicer that when we left! They are great at keeping in touch. I can't wait to get them back!
