My name is Maria, I am originally from Germany. I live in New Zealand for 5 years now. Back home I finished my study "german as a foreign language" and now enjoy travelling around the country and would like to see as many places as I can.
My friends appreciate my very helpful, honest and responsible character, thats why they let me take care of their pets (cats and dogs) many many times.
I have also done a few house sitting jobs here in New Zealand which I enjoyed a lot with all the different kind of pets (you can see the reviews below).
I would also love to look after your pets and treat them, if they were my own and of course, take care of your house. I grew up with a Labrador dog, two cats, one rabbit and one guinea pig and I really would love to spend time with pets here as well.
I have also worked on a goat farm and cow farm here in New Zealand, so Iam experienced with goats and cows too, as well as with the dogs Iam used to work with there.
It's a pleasure for me to look after your pets and your house, as I know myself, how nice it is to have someone around who cares about your place and beloved fur babies, when you want to get up and travel.
I think, I would be a great match as a housesitter, because Iam a very neat, tidy, non- smoking as well as non-drinking woman.

Maria was awesome. Not only did she find her way around a new home she managed everything (i.e. lighting wood burner, managing solar energy, collecting fallen leaves along the driveway) all while there was a 'State of Emergency' declared throughout the Tairawhiti region with flooding, slips, road closures during several days of heavy rain. We were able to relax on our holiday knowing Maria was taking care of everything back home!

Maria and Allan were fantastic house sitters. The communication was great with regular updates while we were overseas. The house was immaculate when we returned and our cat was super happy and relaxed. Highly recommend and would happily have them both back again to stay. Thanks so much
I'd highly recommend Maria as a housesitter. She looked after our house and wee dog so well, and her communication was excellent. We'd love to have her sit for us again.
Maria was perfect. She was excellent with the dogs and took great care of the villa.
I couldn't speak more highly of Maria. She came and cared for Dusty. My dog was happy and relaxed and she left my house like a new pin and my garden tidy and organised.
I found Maria to be friendly, respectful, courteous and kind. She was very tidy (inspired me for sure!) Indeed, we have become firm friends and she has returned to house sit for me many times.
You will adore Maria. You will indeed be fortunate if she can house sit for you. She is welcome again at my place at any time.
Maria and Seb were AMAZING. Not only did they take incredible loving care of Smokey our sweet cat, but they also took incredible care with our place - leaving it even cleaner and tidier than we did when we left! I cannot recommend them highly enough - I had peace of mind the whole time we were traveling, knowing that trustworthy and reliable people were taking care of things back home.
Maria and her partner took very good care of our dog Pumpa. He was so happy. The house was well looked after. I cannot fualt anything. A lovely young couple that I would highly recommend for looking after your home and pets.
There is nothing more secure than having people at home while you're away. Get a house sitter.
