We`re Sarah(33) & Thimo(35) from Germany. New Zealand has been our home for the last 4 years and after some awesome time travelling and exploring, we have now decided to settle down in Aotearoa. Sarah is an Early Childhood Educator and has a job in a daycare centre at the Mount Maunganui in Tauranga and Thimo is a project manager and works remotely.

We both are grown up surrounded by animals, know how to take care of them and enjoy sharing time together. Sarah is also a very passionate horse rider and has been working with professional competition horses in the past in Germany.

We both love tramping, fishing, surfing, are passionate divers and of course love to travel around the globe.

Thimo and Sarah were excellent house-sitters. We returned to find our place very well looked after and our cat very happy. Our lawns were mowed and the house was very clean, we really appreciated their care of our home and cat. We had to return home early due to an accident, and they were very understanding. They stayed on with us, and we got to know them well. They are a lovely couple and we highly recommend them. Ten out of 10!

Sarah and Thimo are a lovely couple who immediately made us feel at ease with leaving our house and cats in their care. They had a great manner with the cats who took to them almost immediately. To care for our lawn is not straightforward with a steep bank to mow, but Sarah and Thimo were up to the challenge and we returned home to a well kept lawn. We were delighted by the regular photos of our cats as we did miss them while we were away and it was marvelous to have the reports on their well ... MORE

Thimo and Sarah had excellent communication from the start. A few months before our holiday they came out and met us and our puppy and then while we were away they sent us regular updates and photos. We could relax and enjoy our holiday knowing that our puppy and house were being well taken care of. They also looked after our newly planted vege garden, left our house very clean and tidy, as well as a fresh flowers and a loaf of sour dough for when we got home. Thank you again Sarah & Thimo for taking good care of our place and our animals while we were in Europe. Missy our dog absolutely adored you! Our house was looked after really well and left clean and tidy. We got home to a freshly baked loaf of bread and homemade chutney. Thank you again.

Sarah and Thima are wonderful housesitters and pet carers. They took exceptional care of Whina our labradoodle and spent lots if time walking playing and giving her cuddles much to her delight. Our house was immaculate on our unexpected early return from our holiday and they handled the disruption to their plans with grace. Communication was superb and we were kept up to date with Whina's activities. Highly recommended and would offer them a chance to sit for us in the future.

Thimo and Sara were amazing house sitters. Respectful and very caring of our pets. They left the house immaculate and even left home cooked bagels and creme brûlées in the fridge for our return! We would highly recommend and have them back anytime.

Well, it's been a few weeks since the house-site and it's time to write a review - and we are sitting here with Thimo and Sarah having dinner together. This is a good thing. Thinking back, even thought we arrived home early, just like everything else, no problem. Cats were happy, house was happy and we were happy. We like to create win-wins, and this house sit was definitely one of those. We will no doubt be asking again.

Sarah & Thimo have looked after our place a couple of times now, and are fantastic. Trustworthy & reliable, the communication with them was easy, and they are lovely people. I am more than happy to invite them back to our place, and they are now my sitters of choice. We have a range of animals, and they were capable of looking after them all very well.

We have used Sarah and Thimo twice now for our house. We found there communication to be awesome. When we met Thimo for the first time we automatically got a good feeling and felt like we could trust them. Sarah and Thimo cared for our house , dog and cat and did a wonderful job. Our home was left clean and tidy , and the pets were supper happy. We would have them back in a heartbeat. We Highly recommend them.
