We are a couple in our late 20s and early 30s living in Wellington. We love housesitting because it combines two of the things we both really love; travelling and pets. Due to our current migratory situation we do not have pets and house sitting is a way we can enjoy the company of animals and explore new suburbs.

We have both had dogs and cats in the past. Nachi has also volunteered with the SPCA where she looked after chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs amongst others. She also attended a farm school and has experience caring for farm animals. We believe that animals are part of the family and will go above and beyond to ensure they are well looked after and don't miss their human family too much while you are away.

We have been housesitting since December 2021 and have become the biggest fans of it. We love being able to meet and spend time with many different fur-friends. Our days just wouldn't be fulfilled without some fur-company. We simply are animal people who love the opportunity to care for them while their family is away.

As well as our reviews on this site we also have excellent reviews on AirBnB and references from past landlords and housemates that we are really happy to share with you.

Wow - what can we say? Alina and Nachi looked after our house and cat Reka for almost 2 months and right from the first contact everything went super smoothly. Their communication was great, proactive and at a level that was just right for us. When we had contact we got pictures and short videos which showed just how happy Reka was. Alina and Nachi were fantastic house sitters - can't recommend them highly enough. They took the time to drop by and visit in person before we left on holiday to meet our cat, Monty, and tour the house. Communication was great, we didn't worry at all over the four weeks away. We came back to a house that was cleaner than we left it, it was like no one was there at all! Really appreciate the care we received especially because we have many plants/gardens to care for in addition to the cat.

Alina and Nachi looked after our dogs and house for 10 nights this January. I can not recommend them highly enough! Their preparation for the sit was first class - they have their own questionnaire which prompts owners to provide all the necessary information, as well as providing an introductory chat and a physical handover. This is the first time we have had house-sitters that were not friends. We had the most wonderful experience! Nachi and Alina took great care of our house and and we returned after three months to a sparklingly clean house (and an oven so brilliant that we had to wear sun-glasses to look inside). Alina and Nachi are caring and reliable housesitters and we would strongly recommend them. Our two cats Orca and Cocoa are very sensitive and scared of strangers and we were impressed with how quickly they settled down and accepted Alina and Nachi. We also really appreciated the ongoing excellent communication and photos they sent of happy contented cats. The house was also very well looked after. We will be using them again!

I can't thank enough Lina and Nachi their care of Lola while I was overseas. Lola was happy as when I came back. They are reliable, communicate well and left property well kept. I can strongly recommend them to take care of your small ones.

Nachi and Alina were wonderful to have as house sitters. We had them stay the night before we left for our travels as we were leaving very early the day after. It was a pleasure to meet them and made it easy for us to leave our fur babies in safe hands. They offered to give us updates if we wanted it and they left the house very clean and tidy.
