We are a reliable, thoughtful, flexible, and tidy couple currently living in Wellington with a love of animals, travel and new experiences.

Jan has carried out lots of house sits in Sydney recently (see references below) so that she could leave our adult daughter with Down syndrome at home alone for a week or two at a time, and start giving her some practice at independent living.

We love animals, travelling and everything that comes along with it - meeting new people, learning about different cultures, tasting new food, and experiencing new things. Over the years, we have housesat for neighbours, and friends overseas, with rabbits, cats, horses, donkeys, and dogs. We had cats and dogs growing up, and as a family we had guinea pigs and racing pigeons with our children. We love all animals though, and are fast learners, so we are of course happy to look after anything not on the list above as well if you provide us with the correct instruction. Jan is retired so she can be around a lot during the day to give your animals all the attention they want and deserve!

We are non-smokers and are fully vaccinated against Covid-19.

We are responsible, mature, and thoughtful, and can't wait to meet you and your pets soon!

Look no further than Jan and Greg as your next house sitters. They are supremely capable, honest and reliable and looked after our darling dog beautifully, This included 2 dog walks daily and giving medication . They were in regular touch with us while we were away as well as sending us photos of our dog. We returned home to a home tidier than when I left it and the bed sheets had been washed and dried! Thank you so much- we are very grateful for helping us. We will have you back any time!

Jan and Greg house sat for us for three weeks whilst we were away. We couldn’t be happier with the arrangement. Their communication with us was amazing. We arrived back to our house in perfect condition as we left it. Jan and Greg looked after our two dogs and maintained our house as we would have ourselves. I would trust them wholeheartedly to house sit for us any time. I feel we have formed a friendship with them over the last few weeks and I endeavor to stay in contact with them.

Jan and Greg were great house sitters. Our puppy was was really well looked after and the house was wonderfully clean on our arrival home. Communication was really good (before/during and after the house sit). We would highly recommend and would welcome them back.

Jan and Greg were so lovely. Communication was excellent and we always felt like our house, garden and pets were in good hands! The house was well looked after, all our plants are healthy, and the cats were very well cared for. It was very reassuring and relaxing to have these two house sit for us, highly recommended.

Jan was a superstar house sitter. It was our first experience with house sitting so we were a little nervous but Jan was so friendly and great at sending through updates and taking care of our two cats. Our more standoffish cat was her best friend in no time and my house plants survived better than under my watch. The house was sparkling when we got home and two happy cats which was a lovely feeling after a month away. Wouldnt hesitate to recommend her to anyone for house sitting! Thanks Jan :)

Jan was amazing! Having to arrange a sitter at the last minute and while already overseas I immediately felt comfortable my cat Ella and apartment would be in good hands. Jan made things extremely easy and continued to communicate. My apartment was left perfectly cleaned with all linen washed and a freshly made bed which was so nice to arrive home to and I could tell Ella had been well looked after. I would highly recommend Jan and would love to have her house sit again in the future

It was a perfect experience having Jan look after my home and my car, Felix for three weeks. When I came home Felix was calm, relaxed and happy, which is testament to Jan's love and care of him. The plants were well cared for and my home was immaculately tidy and clean. Jan even left me a block of chocolate and a beautiful card depicting an artwork made by her daughter. Jan's communication throughout was friendly and caring. I would ask Jan to pet sit again in a heart beat.

We were so lucky to have Jan housesit and care for our kitty's especially on such short notice. Jan came by to meet with us and the cats and grab the keys which we really appreciated. We came home to vey happy cats, a perfect house, clean fresh sheets on the bed, a lovely card and even chocolate! I think the house was tidier than when we left it! I would have no hesitation having Jan housesit for us again and would highly recommend her to anyone :)

We were so lucky to have Jan look after Saffy for the week. We were instantly at ease with her calm nature and knew Saffy would be comfortable and happy in her care.
