I have been a pet owner all my whole life, this has included cats, from kittens till older age when they required daily medication; dogs, from new born puppies to older dogs and post surgery restrictions. I have also cared for rabbits and chickens.

I have regularly house sat for a couple with two elderly golden retrievers and a cat, this generally involved keeping the dogs to their usual routine and keeping the house clean. I have also cared for a neighbours dogs while they had puppies and would feed cats for neighbours while they were on holiday.

I love to explore new places and I love animals. With my current living situation and travel schedule, it is really challenging for me to have my own pets. So, I love the opportunity to take care of and love other peoples! I also think it is a great way to get to know an area or town that I may not otherwise have visited. Being part of a housesit also gives me more of a “local” experience and the opportunity to assist others.
