Hey,
I am British born but now living in Clevedon, Auckland. My husband is a kiwi (hence why I’m here) and together we are raising our beautiful boy here in Aotearoa. We have lived in New Zealand now for 10 years. We have been living around the world previously and I used to be a flight attendant. I love changing environments so decided I would offer my services on here. I love all animals and I currently live on a small lifestyle section.
Anytime i have the chance to look after any animals i go for it as I love hanging out new animals. My work it very social so I enjoy quiet time with animals to help relax. I love horses, dogs, chickens, rabbits, Guinea pigs, pigs, sheep, alpacas and I have experience with caring for all these animals. I love exercise and don’t drink so can care for early feeds and long walks if required.
I am clean and responsible and will follow rules and jobs that need to be done whilst your away. I can provide references to reflect my characteristics and references of previous house sits.
We also have a house back in Uk which we rent out, so i know how to take care of other people's houses as ours. We have also have had a bach for years on Airbnb that works really well as our guests are mostly lovely, so rest assured your home will be respected too.
I will give back the house just as we found it and hope you trust that i will care for your animals as you would yourselves. And when you return home they are calm and happy.
Of course i am more than happy to do a zoom call or meet in person to discuss you and your pets needs prior to you leaving.

Rachel is a great house sitter. We came home to very happy animals and the house and garden in great shape. We like to think that we may call on Rachel again in the future and would be very happy to recommend her. Lovely to meet you Rachel and let's stay in touch.
Rachel did a great job looking after our place while we were away and communicated well with us, Charlie was a happy cat on our return as were all the other animals. The house was left in a lovely clean condition. Rachel also helped us out by staying another night. I would not hesitate to recommend her.
Rachel was awesome. She popped over and met the pets prior to the sit. Sent us arrival and departure messages and left the house in a really tidy state. Would love to have her back!
As soon as I knew Rachel was a fan of border collies and pigs, I knew she was the right person to farm sit for me.
Rachel and her son were both delightful. They came and looked after my animals when I went away for a long weekend and did a great job. Most important of all, I arrived home to a calm, happy dog, which is always a sign she has bonded with whoever's staying.
