Quiet Responsible Carer !

Hello ! I am a mature female with great references, lots of housesitting experience. I am a responsible, caring and trustworthy person. I love all animals, and have previously volunteered at my local pound, (your pets will be well and truly spoilt with me !!)I enjoy gardens, and consider myself to be a quiet living, tidy person. I am a non-smoker, I occasionally enjoy a glass of wine. I have good christian values. I currently work as a journalist, where I have flexibility to work from home, I also work with special needs kids at my nearby local school, on a part time/flexible basis. I recently completed a University Degree. Hobbies include bush-walking, the beach and a good book (just a few of the things I enjoy) travelling, and experiencing different parts of lovely NZ. Ideally strive to make sure the homeowners leave on their journey with peace of mind that their precious pets, home and belongings are in safe hands, as they will be. Loren watched our pets and home for a quick getaway. I had great communication with her throughout the whole process. We are so grateful to her for caring for our little ones while we were away.

Curious on the lower pet star rating, I asked the owners, and discovered she had counted the small treat cat biscuits on return, and I had given a few extra pieces! (dear oh dear) I am sure squirrel, the cat would have appreciated them.
Loren is an amazing house sitter! She was our first sitter and put us at ease straight away. She is warm, friendly, genuine, and trustworthy. Communication was excellent. We returned from our trip with relaxed, happy pups and I'm sure our house was even cleaner than when we left it. Thanks heaps Loren : )

Thanks Sue a pleasure to stay there and mind your cats. I did actually follow your instructions and water your garden twice daily thou, so not sure what more could have been done. I guess in this summer heat it's tough on plants.
Loren was an awesome house sitter and carer of pets. We really appreciated her care, and communication, and wouldn't hesitate to ask her to house sit again.

That April sit didn't happen due to Covid, however we particularly asked for Loren for a holiday we took from 11 to 20 October 2020. Loren was great. Easy to communicate with, obviously highly experienced, willing to be flexible, Left our home and dogs in excellent condition. We sure hope you will be available for any next time Loren.

What a fantastic house sitter Loren was. Her communication was super effective and always timely. She was great with my animals and Lily the dog is still pining for her nearly three weeks later. Loren had to deal with a plumbing emergency on a stat holiday and was very patient and understanding when the water to the whole property had to be turned off for the day and overnight. I would recommend Loren to all.
