I am a cheerful single retiree who loves cats and horses in particular, but have an affinity for all animals. I am calm and patient with animals.
I have owned my own various homes for over thirty years and find it a joy to maintain and clean my home and surroundings, and would treat your property with the utmost respect.
I would love to allow you time to travel away from your home knowing that your wonderful animal(s) and property will be cherished.

Jo is a gem! We are so grateful to have a house sitter who loves our fur baby Locket as much as we do. When we are away, Jo provides Locket with endless cuddles and sends us cute pictures of him having the best time without us. The house was spotless upon our return. Thank you so much Jo! Hugs xoxo
We were so lucky to have Jo look after our very precious cats. Normally one of them makes a big fuss when we come home but she went straight to Jo's room looking for her! Jo's communication was great with regular updates, which we like. She is a very caring & lovely person & we feel very privileged to have her come to our home & give our cats such love & affection. This was our first experience with a sitter for our two cats (and house), and Jo was simply outstanding! Our cats loved the care and attention and were so much more relaxed when we got back from this holiday, very content, and well looked after. Going the extra mile, Jo was amazing and fixed our sticky front door/lock and organised a new bin lid from the Council! Jo was a dream house sitter & pet minder. Clear, easy communication and she instilled confidence and trust in us from the outset. Jo kept us updated about our animals (one demanding cat and 8 chooks) but was not intrusive. We came back to one happy, contented cat and our 8 silly chooks (who sadly didnt lay any eggs for Jo). We hope to have her back again if she isn't too much in demand!
It has been a pleasure dealing with Josephine, who I can honestly say I wholeheartedly trust with our house and cat. She's very organised with great communication that gave us peace of mind whilst away.

We had Jo return to house sit for us for a 3rd time in November and again she did the most amazing job. She truly is a wonderful house sitter who we would highly recommend.
She is very kind and caring, excellent at communicating, left our house in great order and most importantly took such loving care of our cat Misty.

Amazing communication, even to the point of a lovely long informative letter as to what she and our two dogs got up to while we were away.
The house was left immaculate and everything and animal happy, including the gold fish.
We have never used Kiwihouse sitters before however with Jo as our go to we will be back, If it was possible to bottle her and keep her we would.

Josephine was fantastic. I'd prefer not to review her so that I can keep her all to myself - she is THAT good! However, I will: Jo is reliable, responsible, clearly communicates and responds to all messages. She is clean, tidy, quiet, and takes great care of not only your house but also your fur babies. We can't speak highly enough of Jo, not only was she an amazing house sitter, but also a truly friendly person who was so easy to get on with. Jo was the most amazing housesitter. We and our cat Misty loved her. She is genuine and very kind and caring and thoughtful. Jo took such loving care of our cat and home and treated it like was hers. Our cat was so very happy and our home was left spotless .... We were lucky enough to be Jo's first house sit, what a find she is amazing! Jo is completely animal focused and our three loved her. She probably gave them more attention than we do. Xena had food treasure hunts and was brushed daily. Although the cows weren't supposed to need any attention, she noticed a gate was open and retrieved them from the neighbours.
