- I grew up in the country side with a pony, goats, chickens, piglets,
rabbits and many cats
- Cita, my father's German Shepherd was the best friend though
- I still love dogs the most - that seems to be reciprocal
- in my mid-twenties I got my first own dog Anja, an Irish Setter and cared
for her from baby (she could have been easily taken for a monkey back
then..) to old age.
Not so long ago we gave away the family dog, Goldie, a Rhodesian
Ridgeback as I had to go overseas and our son went to Perth.
- I like talking to pets and plants
because they understand and don't talk back to me!
and .... they are happy to be talked to..
- I miss being attentively listened to
- I currently still have not acquired any new pets for myself
because renovations in the new place are still ongoing.
- I miss my beloved cat Mee Aohu that has been rolled over by
some workman's car during moving house so I'll be waiting
now till all is safe.
