Tim & Andrea

Hello! We are Tim and Andrea, two (soon to be) retirees looking for a long stay in New Zealand and the chance to be part of a local community in NZ. We both work in education (teacher of the deaf and university director) and have two grown up boys (men?) who have left home. We love animals and have had cats, dogs, chickens, fish, hamsters and more over the years, so looking after any animal is no problem. We also grow our own veg and have a well looked after garden, should you need a garden or land to look after – we promise not to kill your plants! I have a wide range of DIY skills, having done most things on our own family house from fixing leaky taps to fitting a new kitchen. I’m not planning to install a new kitchen for you, but can fix most things in an emergency. We both love the outdoors and have recently built or own canoe (which we will be devastated to leave behind). We are honest, reliable and mature – we promise to treat your home and pets with the respect and care we would expect form someone in our home. We are both non-smokers.
