5star rated Trusted House Sitters - New Zealand and International. We are South African & New Zealand citizens, living in Wellington NZ. Sebastian and I are married for 30years. I am a self-employed HR Consultant, Book Editor and EFL Teacher, and Sebastian is a published author of high fantasy novels and poetry as well as an international artist and book illustrator. We work primarily from home. We live a quiet life, are vegetarians who respect nature, enjoy gardening, cycling and trail walking. We combine all the things that we are passionate about into our travel. Travelling is one of our favourite things to do and we spent 2023 - early 2024 house sitting in France and UK and returned home to Wellington NZ in the first week of March 2024.
We do not smoke nor drink alcohol and as avid readers, we enjoy robust conversations. We are meticulously neat and tidy and maintain a healthy lifestyle and we look especially for house sits where we will be in a neat and clean environment. We have many years of experience in gardening and garden design, caring for a variety of pets (Large and small dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, geese, fish) and a reputation for how we keep homes. We also have hands on experience in caring for older pets and pets on medication.
We want to see more places, experience more things and share our love of travel, nature and all its creatures. Animals are drawn to us because they know we love them and it's not just about responsibility for us. We look after homes as if it were our own and we will care for your fur and feathered children like our own.
