Our main mission is to provide you with peace of mind, giving you one less thing to worry about, while you're away from home so that you can be present in your experience!
Your home is your safe haven that should be treated with the utmost care. We are both experienced renters and treat space as if it is our own - with respect and love.
If you have pets, we understand that they are loved like members of your family and although you may have even wanted to bring them with you, sometimes it just isn't possible. We can assure you that they will be cared for with love, respect, and happiness while you are away. We both love animals and have had animals of our own, so of course this would be an honor for us to take care of them as well.
We are also here for your plants' every need. With direction as to how you want your house plants and/or garden cared for - you can consider them in good hands!
We believe that the three most important things in life are family, friends, and the experience that we get to share with these important people in our lives with the time that we still have. That is what we are hoping you're getting to experience with your time away. In addition, living life to the fullest, while spreading love, peace, and happiness to those along our journey is our general aim in life.
So what brought us to your beautiful home country? Sam is from Colorado, Caitlin is from Hawaii, and we met in Bozeman, MT, while bartending together at an upscale wine bar, where Sam also managed front of house operations. We have acquire many valuable traits while working in the service industry, including responsibility, attention to detail, multitasking, efficient communication, following direction effectively, all while enjoying the interaction with a variety of people.
One night, amongst the chaos of working 50+ hours a week, we looked at each other and decided that we wanted to experience the world, first hand, together, before having a family and settling down. Our friends, who moved to Wellington last September, were inspiration for us to start here in New Zealand. We have heard nothing but incredible things about the beauty of New Zealand - the land, the people, the energy, the culture - and we are so excited to become immersed in it during our time here.

Couple
Caitlin and Sam were absolutely brilliant house sitters.
We had fabulous communication before, during and after our trip away. We got great photo updates of our fur babies along the way and they even accommodated staying an extra night when our travel plans were disrupted. Super lovely couple.
We came back to a spotless house, freshly baked cookies and very happy pets!
Would definitely recommend Sam and Caitlin to anyone.
